Tuna and Avocado Salad Bowl


Ingredients:

  • 1 can of tuna (preferably packed in water)

  • 1 ripe avocado, diced

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup cucumber, diced

  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, diced (any color you prefer)

  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: mixed salad greens or lettuce for serving

Instructions:

  1. Drain the tuna and transfer it to a mixing bowl. Use a fork to flake it into small pieces.

  2. Add the diced avocado, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, bell pepper, and fresh herbs to the bowl with tuna.

  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.

  4. Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently toss until all the ingredients are well coated.

  5. Let the salad sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

  6. If desired, serve the tuna salad over
